I am having a great deal of difficulty concentrating on anything except the Louisiana disaster and the prospect of yet another hurricane brewing on Florida’s east coast. The television has NOTHING but disaster coverage and even though I try to stay away from the TV, it is compelling and draws you in. This, sadly, is history in the making and will set all kinds of precedents for the future. Even though the likelihood of the same thing happening is slim to none, I cannot help but wonder what if this had been a terrorist attack…we are inept, at best, to deal with any catastrophe.

I keep trying to focus on my personal goals, but the weight of the world feels like it is sitting on my frame and is dragging me down.
